A slaughterhouse in Budapest is the setting of a strangely beautiful love story that picked up the 2017 Golden Bear at Berlin Film Festival, and is Hungary's submission for the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar.
For her first film in 18 years, Ildikó Enyedi ('My 20th Century') tells the story of a blossoming attraction between two workers at an abattoir. But, perhaps out of shyness, they cannot connect in the real world. Undeterred, they meet each other in dreams.
