RETURN
David Gordon Green's harks back to the films that marked his early career ('George Washington', 'All the Real Girls'), which saw him feted as one of the decade's most promising new filmmakers, and draws on the ribald humour of his recent work ('Pineapple Express'). Freely adapted from the 2011 Icelandic film 'Either Way', 'Prince Avalanche' tells the story of Alvin and Lance, two mismatched labourers marking a rural Texas road during the 1980s, when the state was beset by a series of raging forest fires.
