Oscar and Mai are forced to leave their rural Filipino idyll when their crops fail to make money. Arriving in Manila, they find life increasingly difficult. Then Oscar's luck appears to change when someone he has befriended finds him work as an armoured truck driver. However, he soon realises he is a pawn in a very dangerous game.
