A top graduate of the Korean police academy, Young-nam is posted to a sleepy seaside village following some unspecified misconduct. Here she discovers that a local mobster is abusing his teenage daughter Dohee. The troubled girl comes to Young-nam for help and Young-name takes her in. All is well with this unconventional arrangement until Dohee’s drunken father decides he wants her back.
